The next meeting  of the membership will be on July 5th in the Clubhouse.   The indoor range is now open again. We finished making some improvements for safety reasons.  The new electronic gate is in service.

Open Letter from James Martin

The spring thaw has finally started.  Lots of water and slush, but we’re still shooting 5 stand every Saturday starting at 11.  Due to the weather, we have not been able to refresh the course for the last 6 weeks, but the committee will be out early on Saturday to reset both courses and new menu’s are ready to go.  We are setting the red course to help new shooters learn the game of 5 stand, and hopefully they will have more success (and fun!).  The blue course will be a more challenging set up, but we are striving to make target presentation more clear than what we’ve been able to do.

We would like to encourage families to join us, and the committee has decided to offer a lower rate for shooters 16 and under.  The new price will be $5 per round, so load the kids up and come join us.  The adult price remains at $8 for members ($7 if you use a punch card) and $9 for non-member (but no daily fee).

Coming soon…our “new” tower!  The committee has refurbished a 32′ sky lift (while making a mess in Jed’s shop!) and there are two traps mounted.  This will allow us to provide some interesting target presentations.  Having a tower is a requirement if we want to offer registered targets in the future, and we are excited to move it to the range.

Hope to see all of you on Saturday!
